ILLY Systems – Commissioner’s Forum 2022: ‘Innovations in Integrated Care’

Last year, Prof. Dame Carol Black’s report outlined some of the core challenges facing some of the most vulnerable people within our society, particularly those experiencing complex needs. The report recommended a number of areas in which the treatment sector can improve – with particular reference to the importance of integrated working. The government’s 10 year strategy further developed the findings from the report and – backed by significant funding – presented three key strategic priorities to support commissioners and service providers deliver the initiative. The recently published Guidance for Local Delivery Partners set out the core objectives.

On 30th November 2022, ILLY held its Annual Commissioner’s Forum with over 50 participants from across the treatment sector including Rough Sleeping, Substance Misuse, Mental Health and Young Person’s services, all focused on improving the wellbeing of our communities and supporting people facing multiple disadvantage.

Just as communities begin to emerge from the impact of Covid, the current cost of living crisis has created further set-back for those who are already struggling. It is only through collaboration and teamwork that we can continue to support vulnerable groups and continue to recover, grow and develop.

At ILLY, our mission is to make a real difference within the communities we support – this we are doing through innovative technologies and developing products that continue to not only offer value, but that help to drive forward our vision and provide clients with meaningful information from the data their services collect.

This year’s conference highlighted the brilliant and innovative work that is being done within our communities, and we were privileged to showcase some of this work during our forum.

Below are some of the highlights of the day which we hope you will find interesting, inspiring and that provide ‘food for thought’ as we head into the New Year:
