After a competitive procurement process, ILLY are excited to announce Turning Point, in partnership with Blenheim, were successful in their bid to provide the core adult substance misuse services across Westminster, Hammersmith and Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The integrated treatment service – the Recovery & Wellbeing Network – opened in April and offers innovative and personalised packages of care to effectively improve the health and well-being of those affected by drugs and alcohol. Services will focus on improving access, taking a recovery focused approach from the first point of access through to successful completion.
A new key feature of the service will be the requirement to work across networks in order to improve collaboration and integrate pathways. In response to changing substance misuse needs, there will be a shift towards an outreach service and less focus on in-building service provision. This will not only boost community integration of care across the three boroughs, but expand Turning Point’s network of support to those unable to attend building-based services.
Working closely with commissioners, these services will be integral in building a sustainable treatment model that is responsive to new drug trends and ensures the successful completion of drug and alcohol treatment.
ILLY have been working together with Turning Point to smoothly transfer all clients across to LINKS CarePath, our substance misuse case management and reporting system, by 1st April.
